What Is BSTN? Inside Germany's Cult Sneaker & Streetwear Retailer
Search "BSTN" and you'll land on one of the most recognisable names in European sneaker culture — but the story behind the name is less well known than the drops it's famous for. Here's where BSTN comes from, what it's known for, and how it ended up stocked at Curated Drops.
Where BSTN comes from
BSTN traces back to 2008, when Christian "Fu" Boszczyk and Dusan "Duki" Cvetkovic — friends who met through basketball and streetball — started a project called Beastin. That shared basketball culture became the foundation for what BSTN is today: the physical BSTN store opened its doors in Munich, Germany, in 2013, built around the same community that shaped its founders.
What BSTN is known for
BSTN built its reputation on carrying "hard to find" pieces from the brands that matter in streetwear and sneaker culture — Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, Stone Island, The North Face, Polo Ralph Lauren and Patta among them — alongside its own exclusive collaborations and limited releases. It's the kind of retailer that sneaker and streetwear collectors track closely for access to drops that sell out fast and rarely come back.
BSTN today
From that single Munich store, BSTN has grown into one of Europe's leading premium sneaker, fashion and lifestyle retailers, with physical locations across Germany and the UK — including Munich, Hamburg and London — alongside a global online audience.
